A little about my personal, educational and professional background:

I was born in France to French parents, and lived in France until the age of 23. I learnt German, English and Ancient Greek at school. At university I studied architecture, during which time I learnt Spanish and some Galician. After qualifying as an architect I worked in the industry for 10 years in Ireland, improving my English, but also learning some Irish. I moved to Edinburgh in 2009, and since then I have been learning Scottish Gaelic.

I am registered with the British Architects Registration Board, belong to the leading French translators’ association (SFT) and hold a master’s degree in Translation and computer-aided translation tools from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh.

With my industry experience and affinity for languages and writing, I am uniquely placed to translate any English or Spanish architectural, design, property or engineering document accurately into good, readable French.

I can also write a document from scratch, according to your brief.

I set up Pierre Fuentes French Writing and Translation Services in Edinburgh in 2009 in order to give businesses the opportunity to benefit from these skills.
